- Announcement was made that Steven Alvarez, from Wedgewood Elementary is the WEA ESP of the Year for 2020! Congratulations!

-FCS online: reminder to click on all links and watch all videos in order for the score to register as complete.

-all 14 FCS hours must be completed by the deadline of August 14, 2020 in  Seattle. This is the time needed to process FCS completions by September 1, 2020 .

-Governor did not eliminate the FCS 14 hours for 2020-21  in his vetoes and these will still be paid next year.

-All paraprofessionals should still be receiving their salary and healthcare benefits.

-If we have personal devices, we should be using them if we are able to do so, in order to connect with staff and students.

-if we do not have district devices, this is not mandatory.  However, if we want to prove our work is highly valued, we should do as much as we are each individually capable.

-An informal poll was taken about who was using personal devices and who has district provided technology.

-Suggested Work Expectations as well as some work examples that paras are doing across the district were shared.

-information will be sent to all very soon as to what is acceptable in using personal devices and how/what we can do work wise.
