PUGET SOUND TROUBLEMAKERS SCHOOL
November 23, 2019

Join us soon for our Puget Sound Troublemakers School, a day of skill-building workshops, education, and strategy discussions to put some movement back in the labor movement.
 

WHEN: Saturday, November 23, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: South Seattle College,
Main Campus, Brockey Center
6000 16th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98106

This school will be a great opportunity for union members and labor activists to share strategies and build the solidarity required in these tough times.

Workshops will include:

  • Beating Apathy
  • Contract Campaigns
  • Defending Immigrant Workers
  • Race and Labor
  • Organizing Around Workplace Safety and Fighting Back Against Retaliation
  • Coordinated bargaining: the tools to make it happen
  • Tech worker Organizing
  • Community Labor Coalitions and Housing Rights
  • New organizing
  • Cross Union Organizing to Fight Harassment
  • ...and more!

A light breakfast, lunch, and workshop materials are included with registration. We will also have complimentary child care. Please email saurav@labornotes.org with any childcare, interpretation, or access needs for the day of the event. 
Registration prices:

  • $45 - regular registration + one year subscription to Labor Notes (50% off!)
  • $30 - regular registration
  • $15 - low income, unemployed, or student registration

No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
